Kher Ching obtained her Bachelors in Psychology from Boise State University, USA, then subsequently her Masters in Clinical Psychology from HELP University, Malaysia. Previously, her interests lead her to work in multiple industries such as in event management, hotel & hospitality, F&B, retail, child care services and even to offering dog walking services. However, her lifelong volunteering activities around children led her to finally solidifying her interest and pursue her Masters.

During her 2 years of postgraduate training, Kher Ching served in both NGO and public sectors offering individual and group therapy services to individuals from all walks of life. Kher Ching remains dedicated to providing mental health services to underprivileged individuals through various NGOs. Her passion for this work stems from the continued lack of access to quality mental health care for this group.

In addition to working primarily with children, adolescents and their families, Kher Ching also helps adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and OCD. She recognizes that mental health challenges can affect individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and strives to provide evidence-based interventions that address the unique needs of each individual. To further her mission of promoting mental health and wellness, she also conducts workshops and group sessions that provide education, support, and practical tools for managing symptoms and improving overall well-being.

Working with clients from diverse backgrounds has allowed her to develop a more nuanced and empathetic perspective on the complexities of human experience. She has come to recognize that every individual brings their own unique set of values, beliefs, and cultural practices that shape their worldviews and inform their behavior. Through her work, she has learned to approach each client with an open mind, seeking to understand their unique circumstances and experiences. She also gained a deeper appreciation for the resilience and strength that individuals possess, as they navigate through difficult life circumstances. Her experiences have reinforced her belief in the importance of providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to each and every client she works with.
