Masters in Counselling (HELP University)
Graduated and obtained Masters in both fields of Counseling (Help University, Malaysia) and Engineering Business Management, EMB (Warwick, UK). Co-founder and worked at The Insight Center-a center for training, counselling and coaching. He had been an active volunteer counsellor in Community Health Care Center, PT Foundation – a leading community-based organization working with key affected populations on HIV and AIDS, gender identity and sexual health, providing information, HIV prevention, care and support services.
His areas of interest are working with issues such as mental health, sexual health, sexuality, HIV/AIDS, relationship, grief & loss, education & career guidance. Able to provide psychological assessment and psychological intervention, to design and conduct psycho-education program, self-development training program and career guidance program.
He is interest working with individual, couple, family and group of clients and able to work well with clients from different backgrounds and communities such as LGBTQ community, youth community and populations affected by HIV/AIDS. His working approaches are Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Emphasising and helping client to reach awareness of self and work towards
change. Some of the tools that I may use are sand tray, therapy cards, therapeutic art, sensory
bag and music therapy.
